The Father’s Care

No one or nothing can pluck you out of the Father’s hand. God is more than able to take care of you. Just trust that He knows all and He sees all. After all, He sits on the throne and He can see better than a bird’s eye view of your life and your situation. Trust your life into His loving arms.

Those issues that you can’t resolve, those relationships that looks like they are about to dissolve, money is getting, just turn it ALL over to Jesus. Lay all your burdens at his feet and there you will find rest, you will find peace, you will find hope, love, safety, comfort, joy, provision, and love.

It’s through His omnipotent power that yokes are broken, all through His anointing. Just know this one thing, God’s got you!

REFLECTIONS:

John 10:29 (KJV)
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Matthew 11:28 (MSG)
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

Wise as Serpents, Harmless as Doves

It’s human nature to operate with the mindset of self preservation. I would even go as far to say that it’s even deeply embedded within the most basic level of our genetic makeup. It’s encoded in our responses; it’s our instinct. This animalistic instinct drives our inner man to pursue in fight or flight mode. In the battle over wills, one has to survive. But thanks be to God who causes us to always triumph. We’re victorious in Christ, but this is contingent up on us having total faith, total dependence, and total reliance in God.

After all, we’re not ignorant of the devil’s devices. The devil is an opportunist. He takes his time to set snares and traps, but your praise and worship will set up ambushments against the enemy.

Each saint of God is equipped with a small portion of discernment. However, it requires one to be totally in tune to God. Being in tune has nothing to do with emotionalism. Some people live their spiritual lives as babes dependent upon a feeling.

When one comes to the point of maturity, spiritual eyes are open and then the snare that the adversary set will not harm you. God never said that the weapons wouldn’t form, but God Almighty promised that they wouldn’t prosper.

Time and time again, we will be tested. That is when you will see where you’re strength lies. Be encouraged and know that God’s strength is made prefect in our weakness. So, no matter the battle, we can stand. Because God reigns, we can reign too.

REFLECTIONS:
(KJV)2 Corinthians 2:14
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

(KJV)Matthew 10:16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

(KJV)2 Corinthians 2:11
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Blessed Assurance

There’s a song that says Blessed Assurance …

Learning to not hit the panic button when times get tough is a hard lesson. I must say that walking with God is not for the faint hearted. Being a Christian doesn’t EXEMPT you from trials or the pains of life. Walking with God requires a constant reliance in His strength. Learning to trust God through the darkest of days is hard. Oh, but reaping the rewards of His peace that passeth all understanding is worth it all. When times I’ve felt like I couldn’t take it anymore, when everything seems to go wrong, when a bad day turns into a bad week and then turns into a bad year, when you feel like you’re going to loose your mind, and when you feel like you’re life isn’t worth living anymore, don’t give up on God. Through the tough times that is not the time to withdraw from God. If anything, that is the time to to draw closer to Him like never before. You will never find a friend so true. Like the psalmist says, “He’s a bridge over troubled waters”.

In midst of great trials God has been revealing Himself more and more to me. God desires to reveal Himself to you and to have an intimate, personal relationship with you too!!

God’s eyes go to and from the earth to show himself strong. God will keep you through it all. I’m a witness. He’s kept me when I was homeless, when I endured the pain of a physically abusive marriage, when I was falsely accused (and threatened with going to jail), and raising my teen children. God has been faithful through it all, to sustain and provide for me.

Trust God and find that Blessed Assurance in Him today. Call on Him, He’s waiting.

REFLECTIONS:
(KJV)Psalm 27:3, 5
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. [5] For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

(KJV)Isaiah 59:19 b
When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

(KJV)Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

(KJV)Proverbs 18:24 b
and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Stand Still

When your back is up against the wall, STAND STILL. God can and will deliver you in due season.

I must confess that me and my family have been going through a rough time here lately. This is the lesson that I have grasped,”through it all, trust Jesus”. He will make your crooked paths straight and bring down all the high places.

Stop maneuvering. Stop running. Stop trying to manipulate the situation. God doesn’t need your assistance. He specializes in impossible situations. He wants to reveal His power in your life, so that others might believe.

REFLECTIONS:
(KJV)2 Chronicles 20:17
Ye shall not need to fight in this battle : set yourselves, stand ye still , and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.

(KJV)Isaiah 42:16
And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

(KJV)Isaiah 45:2-3
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: [3] And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord , which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

(KJV)2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Most Valuable Asset

What is your most valuable asset?

Is it your job? Is it your stock portfolio? Is it your house, your car? Is it your laptop? Or is it the watch that was passed down from your grandmother/grandfather?

All of these things are great, but they all are replaceable. There is one thing that you are given, but you don’t truly possess, and its not replaceable. It’s a gift; everyone has their own specific gift, it’s “TIME”.

Each new day is a GIFT. No one,
no matter how smart or how rich has a monopoly on time.

Each day is an opportunity to try it again, a do over. Renew a broken relationship, find your purpose. Live in the now. Don’t waste your gift, use it wisely. Consider the ant, how it strategically and purposefully manages its gift of TIME.

In this fast paced society, there are so many things that are competing for our time.

Time is a measurement used to record and account for different historical events, major and minor.

Be careful of Time Robbers…those people or things that try to steal your time.

It is your most valuable asset, so protect it, guard it with your life. Once it’s gone, you can’t get it back.

What will you do with your GIFT?

REFLECTIONS:
(NLT)LamentationsĀ 3:23
Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

(KJV)JobĀ 14:14
If a man die, shall he live again ? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

(KJV)Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

(KJV)Proverbs 6:6-8
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: [7] Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, [8] Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

Wisdom for the Soul

The secret things belong to God…

Take time to embrace the now. Don’t waste time waiting and anxiously contemplating the unknown. Embrace the known. Live for today and don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will take care of itself. So get out the fine China and the fancy dress that you were waiting on for a special day, TODAY IS THE DAY. Take time to smell the roses.

REFLECTIONS

(KJV) Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

(MSG) Matthew 6:34 “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.
