Which is greater, to WORSHIP or SERVE?

Are we really rushing around just to be busy or are we rushing around to sit at the Master’s feet? I admonish you to rush to be in the presence of God. Refuse to allow the distractions of life to hinder you from being in His presence.

Many people think that if you experience emotions then that means you’ve been in the presence of God, that is not necessarily true. You will definitely feel His presence when you worship, but you won’t always have the tears, goosebumps, and all the same emotions every time you’re in God’s presence.

Worship, that is true worship comes from the heart. Worship with a thankful heart. The time has come for the true worshipers to worship.

Frustration sets in when things don’t seem to go our way. God’s ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. His time spans eternity (and that’s a long time). A day is like a thousand years to the Lord.

Humble yourself and sit and listen at the feet of the Master. If (that’s a big IF) you will listen He has much to tell. Sometimes we can’t hear a word from God, that’s when we need to be still. Distractions of life can draw us away from Him. Remove the distractions and be still. Still your spirit and still your heart. There’s peace at his feet to still the raging waters. There’s love at his feet to comfort in the time of need. There’s grace to meet any trial at His Feet.

Strive to be His presence and so you shall find His favor upon your life!

REFLECTIONS

Luke 10:41-42 NKJV
[41] And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. [42] But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

John 4:24 KJV
[24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
