Dreamers have a Destiny

Are you a dreamer? Dreamers have a destiny, a purpose.

God speaks to His people through dreams. Your purpose is tied up in your dreams. Though it may not look like it, and though the vision tarry, wait for it. God is still in control and He is still on the throne. Dare to dream.

Genesis 37:5 KJV
[5] And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.

Genesis 50:20 KJV
[20] But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Which is greater, to WORSHIP or SERVE?

Are we really rushing around just to be busy or are we rushing around to sit at the Master’s feet? I admonish you to rush to be in the presence of God. Refuse to allow the distractions of life to hinder you from being in His presence.

Many people think that if you experience emotions then that means you’ve been in the presence of God, that is not necessarily true. You will definitely feel His presence when you worship, but you won’t always have the tears, goosebumps, and all the same emotions every time you’re in God’s presence.

Worship, that is true worship comes from the heart. Worship with a thankful heart. The time has come for the true worshipers to worship.

Frustration sets in when things don’t seem to go our way. God’s ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. His time spans eternity (and that’s a long time). A day is like a thousand years to the Lord.

Humble yourself and sit and listen at the feet of the Master. If (that’s a big IF) you will listen He has much to tell. Sometimes we can’t hear a word from God, that’s when we need to be still. Distractions of life can draw us away from Him. Remove the distractions and be still. Still your spirit and still your heart. There’s peace at his feet to still the raging waters. There’s love at his feet to comfort in the time of need. There’s grace to meet any trial at His Feet.

Strive to be His presence and so you shall find His favor upon your life!

Luke 10:41-42 NKJV
[41] And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. [42] But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

John 4:24 KJV
[24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Life-Long Learning

Listen to learn and learn to listen.

All of life’s great mysteries can be discovered through the art of listening. Take a moment, listen to your heart, listen to what others in your circle are saying, listen as the gentle, late autumn breeze flows through the branches.

Make a conscious choice to listen with intent. No one has all of the answers. Harness the power of listening, watch your world open up, and with child-like wonder enjoy each new discovery.

Listen and learn!

God’s Ear

Mothers are endued with a special gift of attention to detail, especially when it comes to hearing. A mother could be at a crowded park talking as her children play, but there’s no mistaking her child’s cry for another; mothers hear distinctively. The moment a mother hears her child cry, she responds, her ears perk up and she springs into action. God cares for us in the same way. Angels are ascending and descending at the command of God. God dispatched the angel Gabriel before Daniel could even finish his prayer, “at the beginning of your prayers”.

God hears your prayers and He understands your heart’s cry. Yes, God can even interpret your inaudible tones. Just know that God is working out your situation and it’s all done in His time. God is sovereign and His timing is perfect. He will set things up just for you. God loves you. He will give you favor to demonstrate His great love for you. Trust in God, He’s faithful to supply your every need.

At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved…
(Daniel 9:23, KJV)

At the beginning of your prayers, the word (giving an answer]went forth, and I have come to tell you,for you are greatly beloved…
(Daniel 9:23, AMP)

Hide & Seek

My favorite game as a kid was hide and seek. Even a rainy day could not spoil such fun. Improvising, we would hide under the covers. Under the covers to us meant out of sight, out of mind. Under the covers we found safety, we found security, we found a place of rest.

We too, can find that hiding place, that secret place in the center of God’s will.  Just as troubles and the trials of life seem to be closing in, don’t run from your hiding place, STAY THERE and wait until the Holy Spirit directs you, prompting you to move further. When you start to complain, run in twenty different directions and make a lot of noise that’s not faith or trust, it’s the sound of disbelief.  You don’t have the power to deliver yourself.  If you could deliver or save yourself there would not be a need for God.

In the game of hide and seek there was always someone that would start laughing or talking, exposing our hiding place.  Applying these natural principles to the spiritual, we have to train our ears and our hearts to be quiet, with trust, knowing that God will keep us protected.

In quietness and confidence shall be your strength. Under His wings, you’ll find peace, you’ll find comfort, you’ll find strength, you’ll find love in His arms.  Trust His plan and He will be your shield and buckler.

Psalm 63:1 (KJV)
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

Psalm 91:1 KJV
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Isaiah 30:15 (KJV)
For thus saith the Lord God , the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
